About US
Aston Springs Farm Trail provides the perfect opportunity to get out and about experiencing nature as well as life on the farm.
Firstly arrive at our animal barns, greeting you will be our popular meerkats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, aviary and more. During winter months, our ‘winter barn’ opens, bringing in some bigger animals, so you can get a real close encounter.
Then take a stroll around our fields and woodland with our rare breed pigs, chickens, peacocks, sheep, goats, Rheas, Alpacas, llamas, red deer, donkeys and ponies, plus lots of natural wildlife. Relax and watch the kids enjoy our new outdoor play area, or even join in yourself! You can hire a fishing net and go pond dipping in our wildlife ponds to see what creepy crawlies you can find (water level dependent).
Or why not purchase some bags of feed for the animals? The children will love feeding the baby goats & lambs and watching all the chickens come flocking towards them as they throw in the corn, or try something different and feed our extremely friendly Alpacas - even the big kids love it!
You can tailor your walk to make it as long or short as you desire. Some parts of the trail are not suitable for the faint hearted… there are some particularly steep climbs. But you can always take a break in one of our picnic areas, so don't forget to bring your sandwiches when the suns shining! Snacks are available on entry at the ticket office.
The farm changes as much as the weather so you can guarantee one visit won't be enough. Look out for new arrivals!
There’s no need to book to visit us however due to Covid-19 we have had to make some changes please click here to read through the measures we are taking to help keep you safe.
